Glee was the most extra show ever.
Rachel sending Sunshine to a crack house so she could get arrested and not take her solo, Quinn singing “I’m Still Standing” while in a wheelchair after her car accident, Artie telling people that even though he’s in a wheelchair his…member still works, Terri lying about being pregnant and trying to convince Quinn to give up her baby to her, Becky firing a gun at the school because she didn’t want to graduate and making them go into lockdown and HAVING THE SCHOOL SHOOTING EPISODE BE TITLED SHOOTING STAR
The first episode had A LOT going on because it was a test episode to see if it should be picked up. They wanted as much story as possible to either grab the audience and make them invested or to wrap up a general idea and have a what if factor left behind if it wasn’t picked up. It took like 3 or 4 months for the second episode and the rest of the season to be released.
