NYPD Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera and NYPD executives give briefing to the media regarding a shooting incident.
According to reports, the firing took place at the Amazura Night Club in Queens. An amny.com report citing law enforcement sources mentioned that the gunfire broke out near the Amazura event hall at 91-12 144th Place in Jamaica, within the 103rd Precinct, around 11:45 pm on January 1.
According to sources familiar with the investigation, at least three people injured in the shooting arrived at a local hospital for treatment. Multiple NYPD units have gathered near the event hall and set up a significant crime scene.
The New York Police Department is yet to release details about the incident. The conditions of the injured is yet to be known.
