At least three people have died and 17 are injured after a Russian airstrike hit a maternity hospital in Mariupol.

The attack on the hospital complex in Mariupol drew widespread condemnation from advocates for refugees and humanitarian aid.
Vice President Kamala Harris said Thursday Russia was committing “atrocities of unimaginable proportions” and said the United Nations has a process to review and to investigate such attacks. At a news conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda, the vice president added that “the eyes of the world are on this war and what Russia has done in terms of this aggression and these atrocities.”
