Former president Donald Trump surrenders to authorities in Fulton County on charges that he illegally conspired to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia. Prosecutors say Trump and 18 of his allies broke the law when they sought to reverse Joe Biden’s victory in the state. Trump was charged last week with 13 counts, including violating Georgia’s anti-racketeering act. He has denied any wrongdoing.

Trump has agreed to a $200,000 bond, which stipulates that he is not allowed to communicate with witnesses or co-defendants about the case, except through his lawyers, and that he cannot intimidate witnesses or co-defendants. He is also barred from making any “direct or indirect threat of any nature against the community or to any property in the community,” including in “posts on social media or reposts of posts” by others on social media.

Trump is also facing four federal charges related to the 2020 presidential election, including conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government. This is the former president’s fourth criminal indictment.
