Trump on war in Iran, "Don't rush me…"

Trump told a reporter “don’t rush me” when asked how long he’s willing to wait for a unified response from Iran, comparing the six-week conflict to Vietnam, Iraq, and World War II.

What he didn’t mention: the clock is running out. Under the War Powers Act, presidents have 60 days to conduct military operations before needing congressional approval to continue.

That deadline hits May 1, and Congress has yet to authorize the war or hold a single public hearing on it.
