
For the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the iconic Times Square ball drop celebration will be at full capacity with no related restrictions. People attending the event do not have to be vaccinated, wear a mask nor have to take a COVID-19 test. Security will be tight with multiple checkpoints surrounding Times Square. People are not allowed to bring umbrellas, backpacks, chairs or alcohol.
