StoneBridge, responsible for dance-floor euphoria, was fascinated by Roland Juno’s synthesiser when it first appeared. “Future technology interests me a lot,” says StoneBridge. “I used the synthesizer like I would use a (DJ) turntable,” he added. He had also been running the Swedish DJ/remix outfit SweMix, and StoneBridge´s remix of Robin S’s Show Me Love went on to be a huge global hit. It was an enormous international hit and inspired many DJs to make electronic dance music. “It was an absolute surprise,” StoneBridge says. “I never thought it could work that well, and I said, Wow!” The work of StoneBridge was important because it changed the way DJs made electronic dance music.
