The Duke and Duchess of York will care for Queen Elizabeth II’s beloved corgis, a representative for Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah Ferguson confirmed to USA TODAY on Monday.

The couple, who divorced in 1996, still both reside at the Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate and will care for the dogs collectively. The Duchess and the queen were said to have bonded over dog-walking over the years, even after her divorce to Prince Andrew.
