After a large snowball fight in New York City’s Washington Square Park, a crowd was recorded throwing snowballs at NYPD officers.
“Officers, like all city workers, have been out in a historic blizzard, keeping New Yorkers safe and cars moving,” New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani shared on on social media in response to the incident. “Treat them with respect. If anyone’s catching a snowball, it’s me.”
