At least 40 people have been killed at a concert hall near Moscow after an attack by terrorists armed with automatic weapons, Russian media are reporting.

Gunmen could seen shooting at point-blank range at concertgoers at the Crocus City Hall arena in videos published by Russian Telegram channels. The footage showed the bodies of a number of people lying on the ground.

The Russian foreign ministry has called the attack “a monstrous crime.”
