Key hearings in two criminal cases against former president Donald Trump take place in Georgia and New York. The dual hearings are the latest legal proceedings tied to four sprawling criminal cases against the embattled former president.

In Atlanta, an evidentiary hearing discussing misconduct allegations against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. The charges include assertions presented in legal filings by Trump co-defendant Mike Roman of an improper relationship between Willis and prosecutor Nathan Wade. The defense has alleged both Willis and Wade benefited financially from the relationship and are seeking to disqualify Willis from the case.

Meanwhile a New York court will potentially set a trial date for a business fraud case against Trump. The case is related to hush money payments made during the 2016 election. The case could go to court as early as next month, and would become the first of Trump’s cases to go to trial.
