Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi faced a ‘rough landing’ in his helicopter on Sunday.

Rescue teams are reported to be on their way to the site where a helicopter carrying Iranian President Raisi suffered a ‘hard landing.’

Background: President Raisi was traveling in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province.

There were reports of heavy rain and fog in the area. Raisi, 63, was in Azerbaijan to inaugurate a dam with Azerbaijan’s President.
