Gov. Wes Moore is responding to allegations that he lied about being awarded the Bronze Star. The New York Times published an article Thursday claiming that then-lieutenant Moore wrote on an application for a White House fellowship that he had been given the honor. It goes on to say that on two separate occasions, talk show hosts called the governor a Bronze Star recipient, which he did not dispute.
