Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis chose an unconventional way to kick off his presidential campaign with a live event on Twitter Spaces and it quickly proved problematic after the announcement was plagued by technical glitches.

The event was supposed to start at 6 p.m. but didn’t kickoff on time and then immediately cut out. It then started again with moderator David Sacks saying “we’ve got so many people here that we are kind of melting the servers which is a good sign.”
