The more people keep on about racism the worse it's going to be no matter what people say people have the right to be racist aswell being an annoying tree hugging protester

Don’t make a song and dance over a dancing hop skip jumping side step penalty miss πŸ₯΄πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ it’s just a game

Southgate tried being the hero to let the last people take them be black to be diversity it just shows how race is playing in everything if there was no black people taking a pen people would of been arguing it’s racist there wasn’t any blacks πŸ˜‚ Southgate got put on the spot to let them take it so he didn’t get back lash

What if Southgate picked them to take those penalties at 3, 4 and 5 hoping that a black player would be a hero and win the shootout for England? If that were true, he didn't do it for footballing reasons. He probably thought there was no chance of all 3 failing to score.

Sorry but Tyrone is stoking the fire here, Patel said nothing wrong and frankly to re-context that and portray it or inference as anything else is just wrong.

Personally I'd love to see real clear-cut racists sterilised, but hey, lets stoke a fire on the back of somebody doing their job and be a darn hypocrite in doing so.

The gesture-politics is all Tyrone here, sorry but that's the truth, instead of focusing on real racists you miss-frame and opinion with the fawning bbc pushing that as news, sad, just sad.

Now – lets see every single abusive racist twitter posters outed and prosecuted, seriously and oh please please please just remove the banana and monkey emoji's as frankly, too many idiots and we can all live without them as they are just abused too cause abuse – end that – remove those emoji's.

Way too much pressure to put on a young lads head. I’m sorry rashford, sorry for the animals that are attacking you racially, this was not your fault and it certainly wouldn’t excuse their behaviour even if it was. I’m ashamed to be English right now. Football fans? I don’t think so, mindless thugs suits them better.

It doesn't makes any sense to a level head person, but the problem with the UK it has a clone trump making the decisions.

They really can't wrap their heads around why people booed a violent cult that attacks front line workers, sets fire to war memorials and hates everything it's fans hold dear. But do you expect from multimillionaires who has never worked a day in his life. .

Sport is SPORT. It is NOT a place for politics! Political gestures are not acceptable at a sporting event.
    Equally unacceptable are:
    1/ Taking the knee
2/ Booing players of any race

  • Vicky

I think irrespective of race there should always be room for criticism. English fans could criticize them for bad penalty shots without being racist and they should also criticize Mr Southgate for choosing those inexperienced young players for penalties.

  • David Thomas

Cmon people Marcus rashford should be applauded for shaming the government’s Β£5 child’s food parcels. When no one else was being taken serious. He will always have my upmost respect for fighting for the poor when he is financially ok. I don’t know the lad but nice one Marcus
