When most dog owners leave for work, they’re just a short commute away from their pets. But when Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch returned to her dog Sadie, it was after flying more than 248,655 miles from Earth in a voyage around the far side of the moon.
“I’m still pretty sure I was the happier side of this reunion,” Koch shared in a social media post.
