Then, a major setback for Blue Origin and potentially for NASA, after one of the company’s New Glenn rockets exploded last night. No one was hurt. Blue Origin is set to play a key role in NASA’s push to go back to the moon, but now that launch schedule is in question. Hundreds of people reported feeling the sudden, jarring rumble. The U.S. Geological Survey says the boom was not the result of an earthquake, while NASA says it was not caused by a launch or meteor. The NTSB and state police are investigating after a mass casualty bus crash in Virginia. Meanwhile, an alarming vehicle breach at Detroit Metro Airport and a tunnel train collision in New York have left travelers on edge. Meanwhile, President Trump met his national security team in the Situation Room where he said he would make a ‘final determination’ on a deal with Iran. Several musical artists are backing out of an event backed by President Trump to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. And finally, Tom Llamas sits down with civil rights icon Ruby Bridges, who at just six years old carried the weight of the civil rights movement just by going to school.
