The four astronauts in the Artemis II crew lifted off from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Wednesday, April 1, for a historic lunar mission. The crew of NASA’s first human moon mission in more than 50 years will break through more than the atmosphere: Among the Artemis II crew are the first Black man, the first woman and the first Canadian to ever fly on a moon mission.
