Tropical Storm Francine formed Monday morning in the gulf. According to the National Hurricane Center, it’s expected to intensify with storm surge and hurricane watches issued for the Louisiana coast.

The current track has the storm strengthening into a category 2 hurricane before landfall on Wednesday.
