The “million-dollar question” for New York Times is why the report on the sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas took so long to publish, Sky News contributor Evelyn Rae says.

“That’s the million-dollar question, why has it taken so long,” Ms Rae said.

“If you read the report as well, there is a lot of information in there that’s quite confusing about investigation tactics and methodologies, post-crime.

“It seems like the victims weren’t really given an opportunity to really understand the extent of what happened to them.

“All of those things weren’t afforded to them, obviously things happen in war, but it is very sad to see.”
