Black Land Loss is a form of economic oppression depriving black families of the ability to build generational wealth. Professor Thomas Mitchell, a property law scholar with Boston College Law School, and the Land Loss and Reparations Project team, estimates that black families have been deprived of more than $300 Billion dollars in generational wealth due to land loss.
