Donald Trump is facing arrest on charges relating to a $130,000 (£106,000) payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

The payment was legal – but Trump allegedly recorded it as a business expense. Falsifying business records is illegal in New York.

He denies wrongdoing, and has said the indictment is “political persecution”.
