Ukraine has been struck by a fresh wave of Russian missiles, targeting several major cities.

Ukrainian officials said more than 120 missiles had been launched at the population and civilian infrastructure.

The air raid alert was issued across Ukraine early on Thursday morning after explosions hit the capital Kyiv and the cities of Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, and Zhytomyr.

At least three people, including a 14-year-old girl, were taken to a hospital, Kyiv’s Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said.
