11 New York Officials Arrested Trying to Access ICE Detention Cells

Federal officers arrested 11 Democratic elected officials in New York after the officials demanded access to cells used by ICE to detain migrants at 26 Federal Plaza. Brad Lander, the city comptroller, was among those arrested, and Jumaane Williams, the public advocate, was arrested at another protest around the same time outside the building. #ICE #NewYork
